Manika, a later life – artistic film

<>For those who do not believe in reincarnation, this dramatization will perhaps awaken some deep reflections. The film recounts, in a romanticized way, the real case of a girl, Shanti Devi, born in India in 1926. From the age of 4, she began to remember, in many details, her previous life, when she had been the wife of a Brahmin from Nepal and had died a year before Shanti was born.

In the film, Manika lives in a poor fishing village in India, recounting her previous life full of riches, but no one believes her. After all, Father Daniel goes with her on a trip to distant Nepal. There Manika remembers the past, and for the priest it is an opportunity to refresh his faith in a new form.
