The prayer of a yogi bhakti addressed to the particular hypostasis of God (or of the Supreme Consciousness) called Shiva

<>Lord, please forgive me three major sins…
First, that I have been on pilgrimage to Your many temples, without feeling that You are present everywhere.

Secondly, that I have asked You many times to help me without saying and “Lord, do Your will”, forgetting that only You know what is right for me and that You are much more concerned about my well-being than I am myself.

Finally, right now I sin, praying to You not to be one with You but for my forgiveness, when I know full well that all our sins are forgiven long before we commit them.”
