Damar Tantra

is an ancient work in Sanskrit about the therapeutic system “Shivambu”,

that is, autotherapy with urine.

This method is said to have been exposed in a dialogue by Shiva to his beloved Goddess Parvati.

In Damar Tantra it is stated that all diseases can be cured by regular use of their own urine.

Shivambu is considered a truly panace, because it is said that urine autotherapy is effective in over 175 health conditions.

Many medical associates and doctors with recognized levels in the scientific world have endorsed and indicated as effective urine therapies.

The wisdom of the Romanian folk and of many other peoples has references to the effectiveness of urine therapy.

  1. “Parvati! I will expose you the recommended actions and rituals of Shivambu Kalpa that confer numerous benefits. Those who know the scriptures well have carefully specified certain vessels for this purpose.

  2. It is recommended utensils made of the following materials: Gold, Silver, Copper, Bronze, Brass, Iron, Clay, Ivory, Glass, Wood from sacred trees, Bones, Skin and leaves.

  3. Shivambu (your own urine) must be collected in a utensil made of any of these materials. Of these, clay utensils are better, and copper ones are by far the best.

  4. The practitioner who plans therapy should give up salty or bitter food, do not overwork, take a light meal in the evening, sleep on the ground and control and master his senses.

  5. The wise practitioner should wake up when three-quarters of the night have passed and should urinate while facing east.

  6. The wise one should put aside the first and last portion of urine and collect only the middle portion. This is considered the best procedure.

  7. Just as there is poison in the mouth and tail of the serpent, O Parvati, so it is in the case of Shivambu’s flow.

  8. Shivambu (self-urine) is a heavenly nectar, which is capable of destroying senility and diseases. The yoga practitioner should take it before continuing with his other rituals.

  9. After cleaning the mouth and performing the other essential functions of the morning, you should drink your own clear urine, which is the annihilator of senility and diseases.

  10. The one who drinks Shivambu during a month will be purified internally. Drinking for two months simulates and energizes the senses.

  11. Drinking for three months destroys all diseases and frees from all troubles. By bathing it for five months, you acquire divine vision and freedom from all diseases.

  12. Continuing the practice for six months makes the practitioner very intelligent and skilled in the scriptures, and if the duration is seven months, the practitioner acquires tremendous power.

  13. If the practice is continued for 8 months, someone acquires a permanent glow like that of goldfish, and if it continues for nine months, it frees itself from tuberculosis and leprosy.

  14. Ten months of this practice make someone a real treasure trove of brilliance. Eleven months of it would purify all the organs of the body.

  15. A male who has continued the practice for a year becomes the equal of the sun in brightness. The one who continued it for two years conquers the element Earth.

  16. If the practice is continued for three years, the element Water is conquered, and if it continues for four years, the element Fire is also conquered.

  17. The one who continues the practice for five years conquers the element Air and the one who continues it for seven years defeats pride (the impurity that generates selfishness).

  18. The continuation of the practice for eight years allows one to conquer all 5 important elements of nature, and its continuation for nine years frees him from the cycle of birth and death.

  19. The one who has continued the practice for ten years can fly through the air effortlessly. The one who has continued it for eleven years is able to hear the voice of his soul (his inner self).

  20. The one who continued the practice for twelve years will live as long as the moon and the stars last. He is not troubled by dangerous animals, such as snakes, and no poison can kill him. He can not be consumed by fire and can float on water just like wood.

  21. O goddess! I’m going to tell you now about other variants of therapy. Please listen carefully. The one who takes the powder amrita (gaduchi, Tinospora Condifolia) mixed with urine in the usual way for six months, is freed from all disorders and acquires happiness.

  22. Haritaki powder (harade, Terminalia Chebula) should be taken assiduously together with Shivambu. This combination destroys senile degeneration and all diseases. If this practice is continued for a year, it makes you exceptionally strong.

  23. A masha (about a gram) of sulfur should be taken together with Shivambu every morning. The one who continues this practice for three years will live as long as the moon and the stars last. His urine and feces will whiten the goldfish.

  24. The powder of the Koshtha fruits should be properly mixed with Shivambu and taken in the prescribed manner. If this practice is continued for twelve years, one’s body will be free from the ravages of the golden age, such as wrinkles on the skin and hair whitening. Man acquires the power of a thousand elephants and lives as long as the moon and stars continue to exist.

  25. If powdered pepper and Triphla Choorna (powder mixed by Terminalia Belavica, Terminalia Chebula and Phylonthus Embica) mixed with Shivambu are regularly taken, a glow like that of the gods is acquired.

  26. The essence (bhasma) of mica and sulfur should be taken with Shivambu along with a little water. It cures all the disorders caused by the malfunction of the digestive system and all the disorders caused by vata hamour. The one who takes such a mixture regularly becomes powerful, acquires a divine glow and can deceive time (escape the ravages of time).

  27. The one who takes Shivambu daily and excludes salty, sour and bitter foods from his diet quickly acquires divine achievements. Freed from all diseases and possessing a body comparable to that of Shiva himself, he will rejoice as the gods of the Universe for an eternity.

  28. The one who regularly takes the juice from the leaves of the neem tree by himself, as well as mixed with Shivambu, reaches the state of Yogi and acquires splendor comparable to that of the gods.

  29. Anyone can get rid of all physical ailments by regularly taking Shivambu with the bark of the neem tree and the powdered pumpkin for the duration of a year.

  30. Shivambu should be taken with lotus seeds, honey and mustard seeds. This will certainly produce the ease of the body, making it energetic.

  31. Equal amounts of Mahua and Triphala Choorna fruit seeds taken daily with Shivambu will eliminate the possibility of senile degeneration and all diseases.

  32. The one who takes the gema salt mixed with an equal amount of honey every morning and follows it with Shivambu, gets to possess a body with divine attributes.

  33. First you should take a mixture of equal parts of sulfur, fruit powdered anvla (Phylonthus Emblica) and powder nutmeg (Myristica Beddomci), which should be followed by a drink of Shivambu. This will eliminate all diseases.

  34. A daily diet of milk accompanied by the drinker Shivambu, continued uninterruptedly for seven years, not only eliminates all diseases, but also nourishes and strengthens the body.

  35. And the one who takes amritaka in powder form (vachhanag, Tinospora Condifolia) after which he drinks Shivambu can certainly conquer death.

  36. And the one who drinks his own urine to which honey and crystal sugar has been added is exempt from all diseases in six months. His speech becomes pleasant and becomes clear.

  37. The one who first takes pieces or powder of dried ginger and drinks Shivambu afterwards, certainly defeats diseases.

  38. By drinking Shivambu every morning and chewing nirgundi leaves (Viter Nirgundo) after drinking, a yogi acquires strength, becomes foresighted and succeeds in all his enterprises.

  39. The yogi who applies a paste of Mansheel ground with Shivambu all over his body frees himself from diseases and his hair turns black. (that is, despite age).

  40. And now, O Parvati, I will explain to you the massage process with Shivambu. Such a massage performed according to the prescribed procedure allows the Yogi to achieve success in his Yoga practice. (that is, in his efforts for spiritual development.)

  41. Shivambu must first be taken in an earthen vessel and kept. When only a quarter of it is left, the cold concentrate should be used to massage the body.

  42. There are certain mantras that need to be recited while accepting, drinking and harvesting, which I now bring to your attention.
    While you take Shivambu in your hands, this mantra should be recited: Aum Hrim Klim Bhairavaaya Namaha.
    (This mantra must be recited while you drink it.) Aum Shrim Klim Uddamareshwaraaya Namaha.

  43. Having thus taken Shivambu, the yogi should apply it to the body, an action that abundantly nourishes the limbs and heals all disorders. The yogi who follows these instructions reaches preeminence among all the yogis and his movements become totally unrestricted. He acquires the power of a thousand elephants and is able to get (and digest) any food he wants.

  44. The one who uses the urine that has not been swept up according to the instructions for massaging the body, finds that his disorders worsen and all his limbs become weakened due to the loss of muscle tone.

  45. Therefore, urine that has not been matured or aged should never be used to massage the body. On the other hand, O Goddess, if for this purpose properly matured urine is used, all achievements are at hand.

  46. Bathing Shivambu and using it for massage according to the prescribed procedure, the practitioner is freed from aging and death.

  47. The urine and feces of the one who drinks Shivambu regularly can give the aura a white color. The practitioner who uses a mixture of Shiro-amrit, dew and Shivambu to massage his body acquires great power and freedom from all diseases.

  48. The yogi who drinks his own urine every morning regularly for three years and abjures the salty, hot and bitter food for that period will conquer the cravings and be the master of his desires.

  49. Honey! The one who is unwavering in his practice of taking a few roasted grams of jaggery, drinking Shivambu and massaging his body with him for six months acquires the ability to clearly see things located at great distances, to be able to smell them from great distances, is not subject to diseases and his body becomes light and supple.

  50. O beloved of the Supreme God! The one who takes a gram of Piper Longum and a gram of black pepper every day and follows him with a drink of Shivambu, in just a month, will acquire a pleasant voice and will overcome all body diseases.

  51. The remarkable practitioner who regularly takes dried ginger in powder form and then drinks Shivambu, becomes exceptionally powerful and capable of great deeds. He becomes as strong as a thousand elephants, and his youth will tempt even Apsara to beg for his favors.

  52. Consort of Shiva! The one who drinks Shivambu after taking fried and powdered Abhaya (Haritaki, Terminalia Chebula) manages to purify his entire body, his body comes to resemble the bodies of the gods and acquires a cheerful mood.

  53. And the one who strongly drinks Shivambu after taking a mixture of equal parts of the powders of Amrita, Triphala, Kadu, dried ginger, cumin seeds and roots of Piper Longum and keeps a diet only with rice and milk, will develop in a year. an understanding of the scriptures.

  54. The one who follows this practice for three years acquires great power and value, becomes a true god on Earth. He becomes omniscient, acquires all spiritual achievements, can expose even the scriptures and sciences he has not studied, and all three worlds are visible to him.

  55. The practitioner who drinks Shivambu with the powder of the five parts of the Sharapunkha plant (Devnaal), acquires preeminence among the yogis and enjoys spiritual ecstasy.

  56. O Great Goddess! The powders of dried ginger and crystal sugar should be mixed with ghee and honey and taken with the juice of nargundi leaves (Vitex Nirgundo), followed by a drink of Shivambu. If this is done for a month, someone becomes strong in the limbs and acquires an immeasurable physical process. After a year of this practice, someone enjoys all the beneficial fruits of Yoga.

  57. Equal amounts of black and white sea seeds should be taken with Karanj seeds (Pongamia Glabvi) and the juice of neem leaves, and this should be followed by a drink of Shivambu. The practitioner who follows these instructions will achieve within two weeks the perfection of the body.

  58. After drinking 1/32 gram of opium fried on an open fire with Shivambu, the wise man can enjoy the sexual act as and when he wants. The one who takes this drink regularly acquires complete control over the ejaculation of the sperm, his breathing and the strong passions of lust and anger; he will be able to travel for a long time all over the earth.   59. Goddess! Triphala Choorna mixed with Nirgundi (Vitex Nirgundo) and both varieties of turmeric should be taken with Shivambu. The one who does this for three months becomes omniscient, capable of discerning fine distinctions and as bright as a million Kamadevas.

  60. The one who regularly follows the practice of licking a paste of Bhringaraj (Eclipse Errecra) and honey and drinking Shivambu afterwards, in six months will be able to deceive time (become freed from the ravages of age) and become foresighted.

  61. The one who regularly takes a powder from the bark of the Neem tree, the roots of Chitraka (Plumago Zeylancia) and the root of Piper Longum with Shivambu achieves such spiritual eminence that it deserves to be worshipped even by the gods.

  62. The root of Red Apamarg (Achyranthus Aspara) and the root of Chakramarda (Chenopadium Albium) should be drunk with Neem juice and this should be followed by a drink of Shivambu. The one who does this regularly will remain free from all diseases and will not be subject to the effect of old age such as wrinkles or hair whitening, which will remain black. He will be able to travel a distance of ten yojane (125 kilometers) without effort. He will be able to hear sounds from great distances and thus be able to know the events from a distance. He will be able to guess the thoughts of others and, O Goddess! Young royal bloodsuckers, with faces rivaled to the moon in beauty, will be attracted to him.

  63. The one who licks a grain of the juice of the white Kaner (Nerium Odorum) and then takes a drink of Shivambu every day, will be freed from epilepsy (and mental disorders) within a year.

  64. The white squum seed juice of Gunja (Abrus Precatorious), the juice of leaves of Sharapunkha (Devala), the powdered seeds of Chakramarda (Chenopadium Album) and the powdered roots of Matulung (Mahalung) should be taken in equal quantities and moistened with Shivambu for preparing a paste. This paste should be poured into pills the size of a pea. One of these pills should be taken every day, and Shivambu should be taken afterwards. If this practice is continued for a month, the practitioner, preeminent among the yogis, will carry out such purification of his body as to free him from all diseases.

  65. The powder seeds of Karanja (Pongamia Glabra), banian tree gum (Ficus Bengalensis) and a little opium should be mixed and licked every morning, and this should be followed by a drink of Shivambu. The yogi who follows this practice will acquire in six months the youth of a sixteen-year-old boy. He can become invisible when he chooses and become visible at his will.

  66. The juice from the leaves of Kavali should be mixed with the juice of the Bhringaraj leaves and taken with honey, crystal sugar and ghee. The mixture is like a thick paste and must be licked.   67. White mustard seeds and turmeric mixed with both types of cumin seeds should be powdered and taken regularly. This will free one from all the signs of old age in a month.

  68. Drum seeds, Jatamansi and white mustard should be powdered mixed with honey and ghee. This should be taken regularly. This practice makes one’s body as beautiful as that of the demi-gods known as Gandharva.

  69. Kalanemi (Guggul) and Bhargika (Clerodendron Serrotum) should be powdered and turned into a paste by mixing with butter. If this is regularly taken with Shivambu, the practitioner acquires a pleasant personality.

  70. The variety of moss known as Jalakesar and the seeds of Sapindus Laurifolius must be powdered and mixed with Shivambu. The one who takes this mixture regularly acquires the charming personality of the famous king Udayan, King Vatsas, and will not be subjected to the aging process.

  71. Goddess, if the Yogi takes Nasya (he cleans his nasal passages) with Shivambu every morning, he will be cured of all the diseases caused by the excess of any or all three humors Kapha (Phlegm), Vaata (Air) and Pitta (Bile). His appetite will be stimulated and if his body is weak, it will be very hardened.

  72. If the practitioner of the system massages his body three times during the day and three times during the night with Shivambu, he will be given longevity.

  73. If he massages his body with Shivambu three times in each period of a day and a night (24 hours) he will be strong in his body and in all the joints of his body, he will be constantly in a state of ecstatic happiness, he will always have friendly feelings for all and his body will shine with a golden sheen.

  74. Even if he drinks Shivambu only once a day and massages his body with him once a day, he becomes capable of great efforts. If this practice is followed for three years, his body will gain brilliance, become a master of all the arts and sciences, acquire the truthfulness and happiness of speech, and live as long as the moon and stars continue to exist. .

  75. Parvati! During the spring, Haritaki powder (Terminalia Chebula) should be taken with honey; and dried ginger in similar powder form should be taken with honey. This should be followed by the action of drinking of Shivambu. This practice will certainly release one of the twenty disorders caused by the excess of Kapha (Phlegm) forty disorders caused by excess pitta (bilea) and eighty disorders caused by excess vata (air).

  76. And O Great Goddess, bitter and prickly foods should be avoided during the spring. This will ensure proper feeding and development of all limbs.

  77. The one who regularly follows the practice of licking a paste of Bhringaraj (Eclipse Errecra) and honey and drinking Shivambu afterwards, in six months will be able to deceive time (become freed from the ravages of age) and become foresighted.

  78. Great Goddess! In summer, equal amounts of Haritaki powder (Terminalia Chebula) and peepar (Piper Longum) should be taken together with Jaggery and this should be followed by a drink of Shivambu. This will return the body to its normal state, cure all diseases, give visual acuity and ease to the body, and give the practitioner the ability to travel through the air.

  79. During the rainy season (around July-August), Haritaki powder (Terminalia Chebula) should be taken with powdered roots of peeper (Piper Longum) and Saindhav salt. After that, Shivambu should be drunk. The yogi who follows this practice will free himself from diseases and his body will become shiny. If he takes the powder along with the milk, he will not be eaten or even touched by the fire.

  80. During the Sharad season (September-October) should be taken powdered fruit of Haritaki (Terminalia Chebula) powder of Terminalia Belavica and crystal powdered sugar mixed together and then a drink of Shivambu. This practice will purify the body, free it from diseases and give the ability to move very quickly on earth. And o consort of the head of the gods, all the achievements conferred by Yoga will be acquired in a very short period of time.

  81. During the Hemanta season (November-December) dried ginger powder, anvla powder (Phylonthus Embica fruit) and Haritaki powder (Terminalia Chebula) should be mixed together and taken before drinking Shivambu. The yogi who follows this practice becomes freed from all diseases, all the disorders resulting from abnormalities in the body fluids are corrected, the clarity of vision of happy speech improved, and the knowledge of all the sciences is acquired without any effort.

  82. During the Shishir season (January-February), before drinking Shivambu, you need to take mixed powder of roots of peepar (Piper Longum), Haritaki (Terminalia Chebula) and dried ginger. It purifies the body, gives the power of a hundred elephants and prevents the ravages of old age. The practitioner becomes omniscient and the object of affection of all living entities.

  83. Goddess, during the period of regular ingestion of Shivambu, you must carefully give up the following: Vegetables consisting of either leaves or flowers, grams and legumes such as Kodra, grams of horses, lentils, black grams, etc. cereals that are likely to cause flatulence , prickly, sharp, bitter, salty and sour foods sexual intercourse.
