<>Stop creating pain in the present.

There is no man whose life is totally free of pain and suffering. Isn’t it a matter of learning to live with them, rather than trying to avoid them?

Most human pain is useless. They are created by you. As long as your life is ruled by a mind that is not subject to observation. The pain you create now is always a form of non-acceptance, of unconscious resistance to what exists.

At the level of thought, resistance is a form of judgment. On an emotional level, it is a form of negativity. The intensity of the pain depends on the degree of resistance to the present moment, which in turn depends on the degree to which you identify with the mind. The mind is always trying to deny the Now Moment and get rid of it. In other words, the more you identify with the mind, the more you will suffer. Or we can also put it this way: the more you are able to respect and accept the Moment of Now, the freer you will be from suffering and pain — and from the self-centered mind.

Why does the mind usually resist or deny the Now Moment? Because it cannot function and maintain control outside of time, which is past and future, so it perceives the Now Moment, which eludes temporality, as a threat.

<>Time and mind are, in fact, inseparable. Imagine the Earth without humans, inhabited only by plants and animals. Would he still have a past and a future? Would it still make sense to talk about time? the questions “What time is it?” or “what day is it?” — if there were anyone else to ask them — would be totally meaningless. “What time?” they would ask. “Sure, it’s now. Time is the Now Moment. What else is there?” Yes, we need the mind, as well as time to function in this world, but we reach a point where they take over our lives, and then we begin to function badly, pain and suffering appear.

The mind, in order to ensure that it retains control, constantly seeks to cover the present moment through the past and future, and so, just as the infinite vitality and creative potential of Being, which are inseparable from the Now Moment, become covered by time, the true you. nature is hidden from the mind. The heavier burden of time has accumulated in the human mind. All people suffer from this burden, but they continue to add a little to it every moment, whenever they ignore or deny this precious present or reduce it to a means to the attainment of a future goal, which exists only in their minds, never in reality. The accumulation of time in the collective and individual mind also includes a large amount of residual pain from the past.

If you don’t want to create pain for yourself anymore. yourself or others, if you no longer want to supplement the residue of past pains that still live in you, then don’t create any more time, or at least no more than is necessary to deal with the practicalities of life. How can we stop creating time? Realize that the present moment is all you can ever have. Make The Now Moment the main target of your life. If you used to dwell in time and make short visits to the Now Moment from time to time, you now live in the present and visit the past and the future from time to time, when you have to deal with the practicalities of a situation. Always say “yes” to the present moment.
