To feel the presence of God

To feel God’s presence… even with your eyes open…

When it’s hard for us, we can remember that especially then we are especially god’s attention.

Universal Order or Default Order is complex, and it’s easy to understand it — and sometimes it’s even impossible.

But it’s good to know that it’s the “road” that matters, it transforms us, not the temporary targets of becoming.

“A man was troubled because it seemed to him that he had no quality and that he would not be a being that God would love because of this.

He wanted to do something, a good deed by which God would see him better.

While he was sleeping in his hut, when suddenly, one night, the room was filled with light and God appeared to him.

God told him that he loved him and that he trusted him and that he could help him and in this way he would become better.

He asked him to do some work for him and showed him a large rock in front of the hut.

He explained that if he wanted to help Him, God,

will have to urgently push the stone daily to a certain place,

with all his powers, which man has already done.
For several years he worked hard, from sunrise to sunset; He pushed with all his might, with his shoulders resting on the massive and cold surface of the immovable rock.

Every night, however, the man returned sad and exhausted to his hut, feeling that the whole day had been wasted.
Just when the man was more discouraged, the Adversary decided to make an appearance in his bored thoughts:

“You’ve been pushing the stone for so long, and it hasn’t even moved.”
Thus, the man was left with the impression that his task was impossible to accomplish and that all his work would be a failure.

These ideas depressed and discouraged the man.

The opponent also told him: “Why are you destroying yourself for this? Spend your time making only minimal effort, and you’ll feel better“.
The man, tired of so many days of strain, had just set out to follow this advice, but before following it, he nevertheless decided to pray and tell the Lord.”
Lord, he said, I have worked long and hard for You, gathering all my strength to do what You asked of me.
Now, after so long, I haven’t been able to move the stone even half a millimeter. What did I do wrong? Why did I fail? ”

God answered him, understandingly:
“Friend, when I asked you to serve me and you accepted, I told you that your task was to push with all your might into the rock, which you did. I never said I was waiting for you to move it.
Your task was just to push the stone. And now you come to Me tired, saying that you have failed. But let’s see, is that really the reality?
Look at yourself. Your arms are strong and muscular, your back is swollen and tanned, your hands are beaten by so much pressure, your legs have become solid and strong.
You have developed a lot, and your capabilities are beyond what you could have expected to become.
True, you didn’t move the rock. But your vocation was to listen to me and to push, to test your faith and trust in My wisdom. Which you did. Now I, my friend, will move that rock.”

Sometimes, when we hear the word of the Lord, we tend to use our thinking to decipher what He wants, when usually the Lord only asks us to simply listen and trust in Him.
Although we affirm that by faith we move mountains, in fact it is also God or the Infinite within us or accessible in us who moves them.”
