NASA experts say that the polarity change will have certain effects on the heliosphere, a solar domain that extends beyond the planet Pluto by several billion kilometers, but one of the major effects we can expect will be the appearance of a stormy space around our planet.
In the event of geomagnetic storms, by solar flares that will occur more intensely during this period, it is possible that they affect the planet’s magnetic field. These disruptions can influence communication systems globally, or they can jeopardize the work of space shuttles and astronauts who are in space. But “the major impact will occur on the electricity networks. There will be massive power outages, it will take us years to recover,” says astronomer Daniel Baker.
However, there is also a beautiful part of the phenomenon, namely the fact that you can observe beautiful Northern Lights, which will become visible beyond the Arctic Circle area.
The 11-year cycle regulates solar activity, and in this year of maximum solar activity, which marks the peak of solar activity, an increase in the number of sunspots and the level of solar turbulence will be observed. However, physicists said that the peak of solar activity this year is one of the weakest observed to date, with a relatively minimal level of solar activity.
