YOGA – CHRISTIANITY

What is the similarity between Christianity and authentic yoga?

There are aspects in Christianity that are at least related to the supreme, superior perspective of non-duality, namely:

the answer to the question “where is God“?

Sure, God is everywhere, but this is imperceptible, God cannot be seen – if He were everywhere, He would be seen.

Where is God?”

The answer of priests with grace is: be careful, be very attentive, God is in you; either the Father or the Son, can be found in us.”

Here is the very clear statement

that non-dualistic yoga has been saying for thousands of years.

We even find in Christianity a specification made in strong words “the kingdom of God is in you”, Jesus Christ said to the apostles, very clearly… What else could be added?

On the other hand, there is in the canonical gospels, the astonishing story in which Jesus, because he speaks with great authority to the Pharisees in the Temple about various spiritual aspects, they ask:

But who are you to talk to us like this,

we who are scholars?”

Then he said to them, “I am the Son of God.”

But is it not you, who are Jesus, the son of Joseph, who holds Mary?”

Yes!”

Then how do you lie to us here, to our face, that you are the Son of God?”

Then he tells them:

This shows that you have not read and do not know the scriptures!
Moses does not say there
:

Are you gods, and are all of you sons of the Most High?
so behold, this means, that I am also a son of God
.” (Psalm 82 of the Bible)

Here is the proof!

Other similarities between yoga and Christianity: the primacy of humility:

It is fundamental to transcend our identification with the ego and manifest the state of humility, which in authentic yoga, is called “Vinaya Mudra“.

We learn in yoga about the absolute necessity of this skill, this spiritual virtue, and we also find out how it can be developed in yoga.

A man can show humility spontaneously,

if he wants it now, of a certain level.

But we find out in authentic non-dualistic yoga Abheda,

how can we amplify tenfold, a hundred times, a thousand times,

the ability to manifest the state of humility.

What similarities are there between Christianity and yoga:

Thou shalt not kill!

Don’t steal!

Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s wife.

Thou shalt not commit adultery!

Thou shalt not be a fornicator

In fact, all 10 commandments are obviously found in yoga, along with the necessary tools to make it easier and easier for us to keep these commandments.

Because it is not enough to know about the commandment, you must also live it, to be able to manifest it.

Otherwise, people say: “what should I do, this is my nature: I feel like stealing, I feel like lying“…

Another similarity between yoga and Christianity:

All is vanity” (as they say in Christianity).

Or, as Jesus said:

Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth,

where moths and rust destroy them, and where thieves break in and steal them,

but lay up for yourselves treasures in Heaven,

where neither moth nor rust destroys them,

and where thieves do not break into them, nor steal them.”

(Matthew 6:19-34)(NASB)

That is, the primacy of spiritual evolution that is well known in yoga, has been firmly transmitted by Jesus.

Or: “Traveler, remember death!”

This exhortation is fundamentally to be observed now, because,

referring to the terminus moment,

We will live life much better and wiser.

We will understand that life has value, but on the other hand,

we will understand that this value is relative

because, in the end, we will not be able to take anyone with us.

Another similarity is the divine order in the Universe.

He is told in Christianity: “It is necessary to fear God!”

Behold, it is necessary to fear God,

because there is a Universal Order in the Universe,

that is, the universe is not mechanical and reacts to our fakes.

Everything is connected to everything, everything is connected to everything, and everything means something, everything matters.

And the law of action and reaction in yoga

Say “be careful that if you do something, it will come back“,

Here it is present in authentic Christianity.
