Vishuddha Chakra – the center of purity and intuition – at the base of the neck
In the subtle structure of the human being there are 7 energetic zones, 7 complex fundamental systems that include all possible human experiences. These subtle organs are known as chakras ( centers of force or foci of power).
7 chakras or main centers of force are described.
Vishuddha, the center of purity…
and intuition. Being the fifth energy center of force, the Vishuddha Chakra controls speech and hearing, the perception of the energy of time, the state of purity.
Vishuddha – a lotus with 16 petals, having the following characteristics
Localization: the projection area at the level of the physical body is at the base of the neck (in the subtle plane, in the neck area).
Specific states:
- intuition
- refinement, elevation
- inspiration
- sublime experiences
- pure consciousness
- Creativity
- governs expression
- control of the energies of time
The specific harmonious way of behavior at the level of Vishuddha is to be eloquent and inspired in speech, to manifest intuition and creativity.
We can experience the feeling of acceptance and subtle protection. We change our vision of life, we are more optimistic and imprinted by positivism.
Vishuddha is also the abode of sounds and dreams. This center of force is also connected with the complex process of feeding.
Specific reactions in the case of imbalances: disharmonious activation of the thyroid and parathyroids leads to their conditions (e.g. hyper / hypothyroidism), emotional instability, depression, anxiety.
Sense organ:
the ear
Sense: hearing
Organs of controlled action and functions: vocal cords, auditory system, work of the pharynx and esophagus, thyroid and parathyroid glands, bone marrow
Associated etheric or pranic color:
indigo, being in connection with the subtle ether element
Abheda Yoga recommendation for the dynamization of the center: Sarvangasana – “candle posture” for elevation and rejuvenation
Properly executed sarvangasana, helps us to regenerate the nerve centers of the brain and thyroid, due to an increased influx of blood to the neck and head. Nutrition, metabolism, physical structure and health are improved.
