Bhairava is considered the guardian of time (Kala Bhairava).
He watches over the divine law and the cosmic order,
ensuring that the cycles of time are respected and that justice prevails.

The Destroyer of Ignorance
Bhairava symbolizes the destruction of ignorance and illusions that hinder spiritual knowledge. Through this destruction, he brings clarity and wisdom.

Freedom from fear
Bhairava is seen as the one who removes fears and provides courage. It reflects spiritual heroism through its power to free followers from existential fear and provide them with inner strength.

Extreme asceticism
Bhairava is associated with severe ascetic practices and the power to control material and sensual impulses. This demonstrates his spiritual heroism through the ability to transcend worldly desires and attain higher states of consciousness.

Divine Justice
Bhairava is an executor of divine justice, punishing those who violate moral and ethical laws. This reflects his heroic commitment to maintaining moral order and protecting the truth.
